As of last Thursday, we have been officially homeless. Our new renter, who is fabulous by the way, moved in on Saturday. I spent all day Thursday cleaning and painting...who knew it could be so dirty once everything was moved out! I hope she decides to stay a long time so that I don't have to do that again for awhile!
We spent Thursday and Friday night at the cabin in Annandale, and then went to Detroit Lakes on Saturday afternoon. I wasn't feeling so well, probably from exhaustion and overworking myself all week, so Landon got to spend the evening staying up late watching movies with Auntie Jen, Uncle Kris, Grandma Susan, and Daddy. We went to our nephew Samuel's 2nd birthday party on Sunday... time flies! Then we came back and moved into Grandpa Eddie and Grandma Deanna's house in Minnetonka for the next three weeks until we can move into our new house! I think I just might enjoy living the suburban life for awhile! Landon and I ventured out to find a Target today and ended up at Eden Prairie Center...BUMMER!!!
Landon is sitting up on his own for awhile before he topples over. He rolls over both ways now and still hates tummy time! He loves to play in his Exersaucer that Cousin Sam borrowed him. He has been eating solids now for two months and gets better every day. We are going to try some juice in a sippy cup today. We are heading out to Cokato this afternoon to be in the Cokato Corn Carnival Parade. Fun times!

Landon's 1st Circus
On Wednesday night we took Landon to see his first circus! It was in Annandale and he was such a good boy! Auntie Ashley, Uncle Loren, Jackson, and Lilly came with us! We had so much fun! Landon got a souvenir light up toy that he loves to stare at. Jackson and Lilly got one too!

We Got Our House!!!
Yesterday was a bittersweet day for us as we attended Granny Anna's funeral in Fargo and burial in Ashley, ND. It was a beautiful day and Granny looked so nice. She's now with Grandpa Eddie in heaven.
On the drive from Fargo to Ashley, we got a call from our realtor that the bank accepted our offer!!! We are so excited! No closing date set in stone yet, but Sept. 4th at the latest. As soon as the bank gets their paperwork complete we will know more.

updates...
First of all, we are celebrating the life of Darren's grandma and Landon's great grandma Anna who passed away peacefully on Monday. We are heading to Fargo tonight for her funeral tomorrow morning. We were able to see her on Saturday and Darren was able to introduce her to Landon. Even though she was not responsive, we believe that she could hear us and was very happy to meet him!
We are still waiting to hear back from our realtor regarding our offer we put on the Buffalo house on Friday. We are getting more and more anxious! I started packing on Monday and we are in the process of finding a storage unit. Our renter moves in August 10th, so we have less than three weeks to pack and move out. This is getting a bit stressful says my "plan-ahead-everything-in-order" personality.
Landon is now 5 MONTHS OLD! I took him to see Dr. Fandel on Monday for a follow-up ear check and she says his ear drums look beautiful. She said she would never be able to tell that he's had ear issues by looking at them! That's such good news for us...we were starting to get worried. We're keeping our fingers crossed that they stay that way! He weighs a whopping 18 pounds, 11 ounces and is healthy as can be! That's all for now!

Our offer is in!
We put in our offer yesterday on the Buffalo house! What a relief to have that all taken care of. now we just sit and wait. Our realtor thinks we could hear back as early as today, but more likely on Monday. We are heading to Detroit Lakes for the weekend, so that will help to keep our mind off of it. We are hoping to be able to get to Fargo tomorrow sometime to see Granny Anna. She is in hospice care. Eddie and Deanna were called up to Fargo yesterday to be with her. Please keep her in your prayers!

We're Going To Be Homeless!
We finally made the big decision and put our condo up for rent. Little did we know we would find a renter the first day! So, we will be moving out and our new renter will be moving in as of August 10th! We haven't quite decided where we are going to move to but we have a few options so we are still discussing that idea. We looked at a home in Buffalo today that we absolutely love love love. Hopefully we will be putting in an offer tomorrow and we're keeping our fingers crossed that this will be our house! Stay tuned...

4th of July Weekend
We had a wonderful 4th of July Weekend! Landon was such a good boy all weekend. We stayed at the lake cabin from Thursday until Sunday...it's amazing how much we had to pack to stay that long! On Thursday we just hung out at the lake and Daddy met us there after work. Friday we spent the day at the lake and then went into Annandale to the carnival and watch Uncle Loren play softball. We ate lots of greasy carnival food! Mommy and Daddy stayed up late with Uncle Chad and Auntie Jess while Landon and Lilly went to bed. Saturday we got up and went to the parade, carnival, and then back to the lake. We went to Ramseys for dinner and the fireworks. Then back to the lake for one more night! Sunday we relaxed and took lots of naps to recuperate from the long weekend. We had a nice dinner at the lake with Great Grandma Fouquette, Auntie Susan, Great Grandma and Grandpa Hegle, and Grandma Rita and Papa Bear. We got home Sunday night. Landon was so happy to take a bath at home and sleep in his own crib again...so were Mommy and Daddy! We can't wait until next year!
Of course, some pics from the weekend...
